Even though AstraZeneca and other vaccine makers coerced governments around the world to sign indemnity clauses, shielding their companies from liability before their COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out to the public; dozens of families who were eventually stricken with vaccine injuries have come forward to fight for themselves and their loved ones in court.
As families bring their cases to court, lawyers representing AstraZeneca have had to face serious allegations that their vaccines are “defective” and cause life-threatening, blood-clotting injuries. For the first time, AstraZeneca admitted in a U.K. High Court that their COVID-19 vaccine causes thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). TTS is a medical condition where an individual suffers from a low platelet count and reoccurring blood clots.
AstraZeneca submitted a legal document to the High Court, stating that their COVID-19 vaccine “can, in very rare cases, cause TTS.” This shocking admission could lead to pay-outs on a case-by-case basis.
According to the lawyers representing vaccine-injured families, some of the cases could be worth up to £20m in compensation. However, the burden of proof for proving vaccine injury is a strenuous and time-consuming process. Families have to find medical witnesses who are willing to break away from the orthodoxies of their medical training to combat vaccine industry propaganda. Not many medical professionals are willing to go against the grain and risk their career.
To make matters worse, AstraZeneca won’t be held criminally or civilly liable for the vaccine injuries, even after the injuries are validated by medical testimony and research. AstraZeneca’s corrupt indemnity clause with the U.K. government forces taxpayers to cover the settlements that AstraZeneca and other vaccine makers should be paying for.
Due to these corrupt schemes, obscuring liability, lawyers representing victims of vaccine injury have had to sue AstraZeneca under the Consumer Protection Act of 1987. The legal complaints find the vaccine to be “a defective product” that was “not as safe as consumers generally were reasonably entitled to expect.”
Medical researchers and examiners have been investigating TTS after COVID-19 vaccination. The modified virus inside the vaccine tends to act like a magnet with a specific type of protein in the blood called platelet factor 4. The body uses this protein to help the blood coagulate during an injury. However, after vaccination, some individuals may experience an autoimmune attack against this platelet factor 4. The person’s immune system confuses platelet factor 4 with a foreign pathogen and therefore releases antibodies to annihilate it. The antibodies form clumps around platelet factor 4, generating blood clots. This complication is known as vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia. (VITT). This adverse event has been documented for over two years, yet this is the first time a vaccine company has admitted in court that their jab causes the condition.
One of the victims of AstraZeneca’s vaccine is an IT engineer and father-of-two, Jamie Scott. After he received the vaccine in April of 2021, he suffered a blood clot and brain bleed that left him with a permanent brain injury. His wife spoke out about the case: “We need an apology, fair compensation for our family and other families who have been affected. We have the truth on our side, and we are not going to give up.”
There are currently another 50 of these cases of VITT waiting in the High Court. The damages could exceed £100million in total. Additionally, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency have collected data on 81 Brits who have died from blood clot complications linked directly to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
