The Biden family raked in more than $17 million through business dealings with foreign nationals between 2014 and 2019, an IRS special agent recently testified in front of the House Oversight Committee.
According to IRS Special Agent Joseph Ziegler, the funds came in via a series of multimillion-dollar payments to corporations linked with the Biden family from entities situated in China, Romania and Ukraine.
The whistleblower explained that around half of the money went to Hunter Biden. Ziegler and another IRS agent, Gary Shapley, reportedly approached the House Ways and Means Committee a few months ago to inform them that a high-level coverup was taking place in the governmental investigation into Hunter’s gun and tax crimes.
In testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee back in June, Ziegler reported that the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings had paid “everyone involved” around $7.3 million in total. Meanwhile, their dealings in Romania brought around $3.1 million to the Biden family and their associates, while transfers to Hunter’s business from a Chinese company, CEFC, totaled around $6.9 million, bringing the total to $17.3 million.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer characterized the foreign payments as an “influence-peddling scheme to enrich the Bidens.”
He went on to explain how the Biden family received millions of dollars from these foreign entities using associate’s companies and then withdrew the money in the form of incremental payments to various bank accounts.
“These complicated financial transactions were used deliberately to conceal the source of funds and total amounts. No normal business operates like this,” he added.
Comer recently indicated that he intends to obtain bank records showing the Biden family has actually accepted closer to $30 million from various foreign entities over the years. In addition to Hunter, some of the other family members who have allegedly received foreign income include the president’s brother and his brother’s wife, James and Sarah Biden, along with Hunter’s current and ex-wives, Melissa Cohen Biden and Kathleen Buhle, and the widow of Biden’s son Beau, Hallie Biden, who also had a romantic relationship with Hunter.
Yesterday, Senator Chuck Grassley released an FBI informant file that contained allegations of a $10 million bribe on the part of both Joe and Hunter Biden.
The file showed that the owner of Burisma, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, was “coerced” into paying the Biden family the money. He reportedly told the FBI informant that “it cost 5 [million] to pay one Biden, and 5 [million] to another Biden.” Hunter was also placed on Burisma’s board and received thousands of dollars per month from them. At the time, the firm was being investigated by prosecutor Viktor Shokin; Joe Biden, as vice president, used his position to push for Shokin’s firing, presumably in exchange for the payments.
When asked why they would hire Hunter rather than more qualified oil advisers, the document alleges: “Zlochevsky made some comment that although Hunter Biden ‘was stupid, and his (Zlochevsky’s) dog was smarter,’ Zlochevsky needed to keep Hunter Biden (on Burisma’s board) ‘so everything will be okay’.”
When the source asked if it was Joe or Hunter who encouraged him to “retain” Hunter, he responded, “They both did.”
Zlochevsky is said to have 17 recordings of conversations that took place with the Bidens, and two of these included Joe himself. There are also numerous text messages and financial documents showing payments that were made to the Biden family.
According to the FBI source, Zlochevsky said the evidence will prove that he was “somehow coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired.” He added that he did not send money directly to the “Big Guy” – widely understood to be a reference to Joe – and that it would take investigators a long time to find the records of his illicit payments to him. Referring to Shokin’s investigation of Burisma, Zlochevsky indicated that Hunter would “take care of all of those issues through his dad.”
The same “Big Guy” nickname was used when discussing a potential 10 percent cut of a deal with CEFC China Energy for Joe in 2017.
