Long before President Donald Trump spoke to Ukrainian President Zelensky about Obama-era corruption, that government was planning to reopen an investigation into a corrupt gas company that once employed Joe Biden’s son Hunter as an “adviser” and paid the former vice president $900,000 through a straw firm.
“I can confirm to you tonight, the U.S. government had open source intelligence and was aware that as early as February in 2019 that the Ukrainian government was planning on reopening the Burisma investigation,” investigative reporter and Fox News contributor John Solomon told Sean Hannity Tuesday night.
“This was long before the president ever imagined to have a call with President Zelensky. In fact it’s before President Zelensky was even elected. This is a significant shift in the factual timeline. This is information that was omitted from the whistleblower’s complaint,” he added, referencing the deep state CIA official who claimed to have second-hand information that President Trump made threats against Ukraine and solicited ‘dirt’ on the Bidens during a call to Zelensky in July.
Neither of those claims is true according to a transcript of that phone call released last month by the White House.
Solomon noted that while the request to reopen the probe was made in February, it wasn’t until late March when the Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office agreed to it.
The prosecutor general’s office “filed a 15-page Notice of Suspicion alleging that there may be illicit funds running through Burisma from 2010 all the way through 2015,” Solomon said.
“That’s important because Hunter Biden is on the board for two of those years — 2014 and 2015. And specifically, that Notice of Suspicion said they were looking at the possibility that the $3.4 million paid to Hunter Biden’s firm may have been part of the illicit funds that were moving through the company,” he added.
In April, the following month, the prosecutor general made a request of another Ukrainian investigative agency to go through bank records tied to the movement of all that money — another development Solomon said the U.S. government was aware of based on open-source intelligence.
“That is a significant change in the timeline and was omitted from the whistleblower’s complaint, and the question is, did he not know it, or did he exclude it because it didn’t fit the narrative” the deep state is putting out — namely, that Trump is corrupt and did something impeachable (which is untrue).
Previously, Solomon uncovered a lot more information regarding Biden-related corruption in Ukraine, The National Sentinel reported.
For one, he discovered that Hunter Biden was being paid much more per month by Burisma than originally reported — not $50,000 but close to five times that amount.
Also, Solomon reported that the FBI was aware of the money that was being transferred from the company to accounts held by Hunter Biden. And “there’s that time in April 2014 when then-VP Joe Biden actually set up the Burisma deal for his son. Yes, he set it up,” the site reported.
Interestingly, one of Hunter Biden’s business partners, Chris Heinz — who is the stepson of former U.S. senator and Obama secretary of state John Kerry — must have thought the Burisma/Ukraine deal was corrupt as well because he informed officials at his father’s State Department that he was not part of it.
Heinz, you may recall, was in on a $1.5 billion deal with Hunter Biden involving a Chinese government-controlled bank — a deal that was made just days after then-VP Biden made a trip to China and met with its leaders, as well as a U.S.-China business association.
The Bidens are dirty. And John Solomon is all over it.
