The Collaborative Educational Network of Tallahassee recently put forth a report reiterating that Nicolas de Jesus Cruz, the perpetrator behind the massacre that allegedly took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas (MSD) High School in Parkland, Florida, back in February, was denied the help he needed and asked for from officials at his school – help that could have prevented the shooting from occurring.
Dana Loesch from NRATV discussed all of this during a recent episode of her show, available at Brighteon.com, revealing that Cruz was already known to have mental health problems prior to the mass shooting. Furthermore, school officials were supposed to have followed through in helping him after he chose to continue attending MSD, but they failed to do this.
“A court-ordered report … shows that the maniac who massacred 17 innocent people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida this past February had actually asked for help from the school, from school officials and the school administration, months before his rampage, but was subsequently denied,” Loesch explains.
“Now the report, from the Collaborative Educational Network of Tallahassee, states that in the killer’s junior year of high school, he had already shown himself to be a potential danger. And as a result, guidance counselors wanted to have him committed.”

After making the suggestion that Cruz could opt to be educated elsewhere, the report indicates that he was also given the option to stay – and that if he did, school officials at MSD would be required to provide special assistance to him. This is the route he chose, but we now know that MSD never actually did what they were required to do.
“That omission may have proved deadly since, since after deciding to stay at MSD, the future murderer was then taken out of any counseling services, stripped of all counseling, and returned to school as a ‘regular student,'” Loesch emphasizes.
“Now, eventually he chose to take those other educational options, transferring to a special needs school called Cross Creek. But the report states that the district ‘did not follow through.’ And, of course, he fell right through the cracks, dropping out in February of 2017,” she adds.
Just three days later, “with all the red flags unreported,” Loesch further explains, “and the Broward County Police Department (BCPD) doing everything they could to sweep what could have been a record under the rug for this murderer,” Cruz went on to purchase the very weapons that he would later use, just one year later, to engage in a full-scale killing spree at MSD.
Is the administration at MSD directly to blame for what Cruz is said to have done? Not necessarily. But they, along with BCPD, certainly facilitated the events leading up to it by ignoring the call to help Cruz through counseling and other assistance – as was required as part of the terms of his continuing to attend MSD into his high school years.
Beyond this, Cruz is known to have made online threats prior to the shooting, threats that under Florida law represent felony crimes. These were similarly not dealt with by either the administration at MSD nor BCPD officers, which further paved the way for Cruz to later commit one of the worst atrocities in American history.
