Late Monday The New York Times published what it no doubt thought was a “bombshell” story claiming that in 1985, a young Brett Kavanaugh once threw a beer in someone’s face which led to a fight.
Noted The Daily Caller in reporting the story:
Chad Ludington, a former Yale basketball player who socialized with Kavanaugh, said, “On one of the last occasions I purposely socialized with Brett, I witnessed him respond to a semi-hostile remark, not by defusing the situation, but by throwing his beer in the man’s face and starting a fight that ended with one of our mutual friends in jail.”
A resulting New Haven police report noted that four other men were questioned about the incident, but that Kavanaugh wasn’t arrested, though a 21-year-old accused Kavanaugh of throwing ice on him “for some unknown reason.”
Why this is considered a “story” is known only to the Trump-hating dweebs at The New York Times, but suffice to say it’s a hit piece, nothing more.
How do we know? Because the ‘incident,’ whatever it was, resulted in a police report, and due to that fact alone, the FBI – which has been vetting Kavanaugh off and on for nearly two decades – has known about it all along. If it were serious, no way Kavanaugh makes it inside the George W. Bush White House or on the federal bench.
Yet here’s the Times, again, pimping some incident to its rabid Left-wing readership intended to paint a certain picture (wrong though it is) of Kavanaugh as a drunken abuser who doesn’t have the temperament to be a Supreme Court justice. Facts have long since failed to matter when it comes to this period in our history, this president, and anyone associated with him.
And yet, if anyone’s credibility ought to be called into question by these same media shills, it’s Kavanaugh’s primary accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. Her story of sexual abuse by Kavanaugh 35-odd years ago has more holes in it than the average CNN report, and now new information has emerged that raises even more questions about her Kavanaugh claims. (Related: Lindsey Graham blasts: ‘NBC is a co-conspirator’ in attacking Judge Kavanaugh.)
As The Gateway Pundit notes, Ford – who gave incomplete testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week regarding her accusations – claimed she saw a therapist in 2012 because of the alleged incident, but she’s yet to hand them over to Senate investigators looking into her charges. The notes allegedly state that Ford has long suppressed her memories of that night so long ago when Kavanaugh made his unwanted sexual advances (supposedly).
The GP reports that some believed Ford was in some “hypnotic” state when she was giving her testimony. And while that may sound far out, other reports suggest she was hypnotized during her therapy session.
Well, any information gleaned via hypnosis is inadmissible in court because it’s so very often unreliable. That could be why she hasn’t turned over her therapist notes.
But it could also be due to the fact that, in 2008, she co-authored a paper which discussed a study on self-hypnosis that could lead to someone’s ability to “create artificial situations,” per Prof. Margot Cleveland, a former federal judge who’s also a lawyer, an adjunct at Notre Dame, and a contributing writer to conservative publications.
“BREAKING: This is HUGE (waiting for permission to h/t): One of Christine Ford Blasey’s research articles in 2008 included a study in which participants were TAUGHT SELF-HYPNOSIS & noted hypnosis is used to retrieve important memories “AND CREATE ARTIFICIAL SITUATIONS,” she tweeted Monday.

So, just what happened to Ford? Where are her allegations really coming from? And how can she be so sure her abuser was Kavanaugh without remembering anything else about the evening in question?
Credibility is all anyone has who is mixed up in this goat rope. And Ford is losing hers by the day.
